 Prototype & Short-Run Services, Inc. is a leader in the short-run metal stamping industry, by applying its innovative processes to a wide range of materials, for use in a variety of industries and metal stamping applications . Stainless steel stampings, aluminum stampings, and copper stampings are standard fare. But that is just the beginning of the available materials list at Prototype & Short Run Services.
We create stampings and prototypes out of aluminum, stainless
steel, copper, beryllium copper, phosphor bronze, titanium,
Kovar, carbon steel, brass, Micarta, 17-7 PH, and nickel alloys.
Upon request,
other alloys can also be used. The state-of-the art machinery
at Prototype & Short-Run Services allows us to stamp parts
out of thicknesses that range from .0008” to .200”, or .021
to 5.08 mm. Clients have been amazed at the ability to use
such individualized and specific materials, and to hone down
stock to the most precise, delicate parts.
