Prototype & Short-Run Services, Inc. has broad capabilities in the industry of metal stampings and prototyping. Prototype & Short-Run Services builds complete to blueprint, and creates complete parts, from concept to mass production. We are able to obtain and use a broad spectrum of materials, and to manufacture parts in a range of thicknesses. In addition, the possibilities are endless when it comes to quantity.

The old saying holds true at Prototype & Short-Run Services: No job is too big or too small. We have created one part to thousands of parts. In pre-production runs, before the completion of hard-tooling, quantities have been as high as 250,000 parts.

The state-of-the-art tools and wide expertise of the workforce at Prototype & Short-Run Services allow us to create prototype stampings in a range of different materials and thicknesses. Among the materials used to manufacture parts for clients: beryllium copper, aluminum, nickel alloys, copper, stainless steel, phosphor bronze, titanium, Kovar, 17-7 PH, carbon steel, brass, and Micarta. We can also work with other alloys, upon request.

Prototype & Short-Run Services, Inc. has turned out parts in thicknesses ranging from .0008" to .200" (.021 to 5.08 mm.) Our CNC-controlled hydraulic punch press will produce precision parts from any metal, .001" to .125" thick. The tool also allows us to offer ultra-precision punching, coining, extruding, and lancing.
